Jeronimo Beta 0.17.1 (44)
A fix for meetings that came back with no line on your side, and a few changes that follow from it.
- A call in FaceTime, or a call in a web page in Safari, turns on Apple's voice processing for the microphone, and while it is on every other app hears the microphone as three very quiet channels. Jeronimo turned those into silence, so the meeting had no Me lines. Now it records them, and after the call it raises your side to a normal level before transcribing it. The audio is kept as it was recorded.
- When your side had to be raised, the meeting says so: your lines may be less accurate than usual. When the microphone sent only silence, the meeting says that too, and why that can happen.
- While a recording runs, a crossed out microphone appears beside the time when Jeronimo has heard almost nothing from your microphone for ten seconds, and goes away when it hears you again.
- Calls in Safari, FaceTime, and Phone are now recognized and named for the app, with its icon, so the Record offer appears for them as it does for other call apps.
- A meeting where too little was said gets no summary, instead of a summary with decisions and action items made up from a few lines.
macOS 26 support is still untested.
