Jeronimo Beta 0.18.0 (46)
Groundwork for a change of signature. Nothing looks different in this version.
- A later update will be signed by Incipit Labs LLC, the company behind Jeronimo, instead of the developer's personal certificate. Your Mac ties each permission to the app's signature, so that update will ask once more for Microphone, Input Monitoring, and Accessibility, and again for System Audio Recording and Calendars when they are next used. This version carries what makes that smooth: Jeronimo will explain the change before asking, clear its own old entries from the permission lists, and keep your dictionary, snippets, history, meetings, settings, and Always Record list exactly as they are.
- iCloud sync learns which iCloud container it is using, so the change of signature, which comes with a new container, continues from this Mac's data without losing anything. Before you install that later update, let every Mac finish syncing; the iCloud settings show the last sync.
- The one item Jeronimo keeps in your login keychain, the key that seals the Always Record list, is now named after the signing team, so the later update never asks for your keychain password.
macOS 26 support is still untested.
