Jeronimo Beta 0.3.0 (5)
The first build labeled as a beta. It expires 45 days after it was made, and the app says so in Settings, General and in the menu from a week before. After that date dictation pauses until you update. Nothing you saved is affected.
- Beta builds carry an expiry date and show a quiet notice in the last 7 days. An expired beta asks for an update and keeps your dictionary, snippets, history, and settings as they are.
- Setup has a new first screen for betas that states the pre-release terms once. If you finished setup before this build, that screen is all you will see.
- Report a Problem, in Settings, General and in the menu: prepares a report from Jeronimo's own event log for the last hour, the app and macOS versions, and this Mac's model. You read it first, then send it from your own mail app to help@jeronimo.app. Jeronimo never sends anything itself. Copy and Save Report are there for a Mac without a mail app.
- If Jeronimo quit unexpectedly, the next launch offers once to include the crash report macOS wrote, with your account name removed from its paths.
- On a Mac that never ran Jeronimo, the Input Monitoring prompt appeared at launch, before setup explained it. Every permission prompt now waits for its setup screen.
- Settings, Privacy states that problem reports are emailed by you and never by Jeronimo.
macOS 26 support is still untested. The beta expiry is checked on this Mac, with no network.
