Jeronimo Beta 0.3.1 (6)
Two fixes found while checking 0.3.0 on the development Mac. Nothing you saved is affected.
- Input Monitoring: on some Macs, clicking Grant in setup or in the Permissions window opens System Settings without Jeronimo in the list, and no prompt appears. The step now says what to do in that case: click the plus button, choose Jeronimo in the Applications folder, turn it on, then reopen Jeronimo. On a Mac that prompts, nothing changes.
- The speech model warm up at launch could believe the compiled model was still there after macOS had cleared it to free disk space, so the first dictation spent about half a minute preparing. The check now looks for the compiled program itself, so a cleared cache is noticed and the model is prepared in the background instead.
macOS discards the compiled speech model when free disk space runs low, below roughly 10 percent. Keeping free space avoids the half minute wait. macOS 26 support is still untested.
