Jeronimo Beta 0.4.1 (8)
Four fixes from checking 0.4.0 on the development Mac. Nothing you saved is affected.
- Setup, Noticing the Fn Key: after Continue opens System Settings, the step now waits for you to turn the switch on and click Quit & Reopen in your Mac's own alert, and setup continues from the next step. Jeronimo no longer offers a second quit for the same change; its own Quit and Reopen appears only if you chose Later.
- Setup, Placing Your Words: the step now says that your Mac asks first, with Open System Settings, before the list with the switch.
- Erase All Data and Settings and Reset Permissions no longer let the microphone level meter open the microphone after the permissions are forgotten, which showed a microphone prompt before Jeronimo had reopened.
- The "quit unexpectedly" line in the menu now appears only for a crash of this copy of Jeronimo, not for another copy on the same Mac.
macOS 26 support is still untested.
